Honey's World

Every publishing house has a founder. Ours has a dog. Honey is the official mascot of Tinge World, a Maltese with an international résumé most humans would envy: a modeling career in Vietnam, star billing in two cookbooks, and a screen credit in an indie film. She takes her role seriously. The tacos, less so.

The Vietnam Years

Honey's career began on the docks of Vietnam, where she worked as a model to fund her mom's scuba habit. Between shoots, she ran a thriving side business providing post-dive snuggles to cold, tired divers, payable in tips and treats. It's where she learned to be completely at ease on a boat and in the water, a skill few cover models can claim.

Honey has a great scene in Air Fryer Slaughter where she has her ears flapping in the wind; indie movie, "Air Fryer Slaughter"

The Movies

COVID separated Honey from her modeling career — and for a while, from everything else. When lockdown lifted and she left Vietnam for Thailand, she put modeling on hold for a remote bit part in the indie film Air Fryer Slaughter, where she plays the world's most expensive dog in a 45-second pet commercial. She considers it her finest work to date. She has not seen the rest of the film. Watch her in "Air Fryer Slaughter"

The Books and the Big Move

These days Honey stars in her own line of coloring and activity books, including the coloring cookbooks Lettuce Taco 'bout Bacon and Honey's Favorite Tacos. Every purchase has a purpose: all proceeds from Honey's coloring books go toward her relocation from Thailand to the Netherlands, where the Tinge World home office, and her mom, are waiting.
