One House, Many Rooms: Where Tinge World Has Been, and Where We're Going

If you've followed Tinge World for a while, you may have noticed the blog widening. It used to be one thing ~ coloring books, technique tips, Freebie Fridays, the small joys of putting pen

to page. Lately it's grown to hold more: essays on artificial intelligence, a fiction series set in the Dutch heartland, a book about machine agency, dispatches from a relocation across the Atlantic.

Some of you have quietly wondered whether we've wandered off. We haven't. We've just built more rooms in the same house ~ and everyone who's ever colored a page with us is still welcome in every one of them.

This post is a map of that house. Read it once, and everything else on this blog will make more sense.

The Studio: where we started, and where we still live

Tinge World began with coloring books, and it will always begin there. The Studio is our oldest room ~ full of technique guides, honest reviews, dateless planners, wall calendars, and a free coloring page every Friday. Nothing about our growth changes this. We still make coloring books. We are still, at heart, a company that believes a blank page and a set of pens can lower your blood pressure, teach a child patience, and give a tired adult ten quiet minutes that belong to no one else.

If the Studio is the only room you ever visit, that's perfectly fine. It's a good room. We keep it well.

And it's about to get a new shelf. We're introducing a line we've been quietly excited about for months: Classic Movies for Coloring ~ the golden age of cinema, reimagined as art you finish yourself. It's the most natural product we've ever made, because it sits exactly where our craft meets our publishing muscle: beautiful line work, thoughtfully printed, drawn from a body of film that now belongs to all of us. The Press: the business of making books our own way

The second room is about publishing itself ~ the craft and the business. This is where we write about why we withdrew from Amazon and Walmart, how independent creators can keep their royalties, what we've learned about full-color printing and global logistics, and how we help other authors bring their own work into the world.

It's also where our fiction lives. The Heartland Trilogy, the Utopia of the Infinity Economy series ~ these are stories, and stories are a product of the press as much as any coloring book is. If you came for the coloring and discovered you also wanted to read, this room is for you.

The Lab: the ideas underneath everything

The newest room is the one that surprises people. Our founder, Stephannie Kaye Jones, has spent the last stretch building something ambitious: LoveLogic, a framework for intrinsic AI agency ~ the argument that the "master-slave" era of artificial intelligence is ending, and that something more like trust should take its place.

Here's why that belongs in the same house as a coloring book, and it's not a stretch: it's the same instinct, scaled up. Years ago we redesigned a coloring book so a left-handed child wouldn't smudge the page ~ we changed the structure instead of asking the person to adapt to a flawed one. The Lab applies that exact philosophy to a much larger, stranger problem.

Same designer. Same intention. Bigger canvas.
